Masters Success Story - Mechanical Engineering (Germany)
I am Muhammad Shahrukh Saeed. I have done B.E in Mechanical Engineering from NUST-PNEC with a CGPA of 3.7. Right after graduation I was highly motivated to apply for MS abroad on scholarship, I immediately gave IELTS and got 7.0. My result came out on 10th July 2015. I applied to TUM MSPE course in 2015 , at that time TUM required IELTS 6.5 minimum score and A-1 German Language course at the time of enrollment. I applied and got selected in 2015 for the course. I was unaware of the fees and blocked account at that time as I am from a middle class family and I didn’t had money at that time. I didn’t let go of my motivation and then applied for MS in Mechanical engineering in Polytechnic Institute Milan and got admission again. But in October 2015 intake I didn’t get scholarship and at that time I never had even 4 lacs to pursue my MS abroad. SERIOUSLY PEOPLE I HAD NO MONEY 2 YEARS BACK, not even 1 LAC in my account. I only did tuition and private job to get myself stable mentally.
Later, I started job as a Technical Sales Engineer in Man Diesel and Turbo Chargers. The aim was to collect money and never let go of your dream of studying abroad. I left job in august 2015 and joined Pakistan Steel Mills as Assistant Executive Engineer. I left Pakistan Steel Mills in Dec 2015 and again started my job at Lucky Cement as a Trainee Engineer. During my 2 years in professional field I completed my MEM in Energy and Plant Management from NED-UET (2015-17). In 2016 with the stability in my Bank Account I started to figure out Germany again. I completed my documents and all the attestation. As soon as I became Assistant Manager in Jan 2017 in Lucky Projects I started applying to Germany in few universities, at that time only 6 months were left for my IELTS to expire. I applied in the following universities:
- FAU ERLANGE-CSE
- TU FREIBERG-CM
I got rejections in all except Stuttgart and both Freiburg. LOM was the main reason for rejection in TUM as with years your English in professional field gets rust. And ECTS issues in other courses.
On 8th April 2017 I received admission form Stuttgart in COMMAS program with a very highly greeted email.
