I belong to underprivileged area, where girls do not go to pursue their higher education but I did with my parents support. From the grade one to intermediate I got to study in Sindhi medium because there wasn’t even a good school and college. So the day came when I got admission in an undergrad degree at one of the good university of Sindh and during my undergrad I also got a chance to study one semester at foreign university in US.

After coming back to Pakistan my vision was clear that I will pursue my Ms. From one of the good US institution and as soon I completed my undergrad I got a job offer so I went for that opportunity too, because job experience is one of the major factor which is considered when you apply for professional degree program. I started preparing for TOEFL, while I was working full time it was really tough but I managed somehow, searching schools was crucial thing, as I knew I can’t afford to study on my own money because that would be too costly and that led me to search for the schools which considered applicants for scholarship while their admission evaluation so I chose such universities. Before applying I to schools I checked scholarship and financial aid options by each university and decided where I had to apply. It was May 22, 2017 I got my admit from Indiana university with partial scholarship and an assistantship offer starting from second semester.

I noticed as far as you satisfy application requirements you are in the game. Good LOR/TOEFL/SOP really plays their roles in selection.

I wish every applicant best of luck with their future endeavors.
